This is an update to my previous post. I have FINALLY completed the A-10C from Xingbao.
I rebuilt the forward canopy and nose section as well as the cockpit. Hand painted the nose art, cockpit, and top of the rear stabilizers.
I built custom pylons/ bomb racks for stations 1-4 and 8-11.
Custom AN/ALQ-184 on station 1.
Custom LAU-131 rocket pod on station 2.
AGM-65 Maverick on stations 3 and 9. (From the ProBuilders A-10 in 2006)
Custom TER (Triple Ejector Rack) with 3 Mk82 bombs (From the Reaper Drone in the CoD Dome set.) on station 4. One CBU-87 on station 8.
Custom LAU-114 with 2 AIM-9 Sidewinder Air-to-Air missiles. (From the CoD "Harrier" set)
The gun barrels are from a Brickarms mini-gun. (The ONLY part that is super glued in place.)
The pilot mask, visor, and helmet are from Brickmania as well as the US flag on the custom "angle-of-attack" display stand.
The decals are CATN 48-073 Part 2 from PrintScale.
The designation is FT AF79-0179 introduced in 1979 and currently assigned to the 23d WG/ 23d FG/ 74th FS at Moody AFB, Georgia
