@LaserExplorer9 To be honest, the ILC’s track record on representative democracy has been… questionable. With such an initially small group to represent, it really wasn’t necessary. And with the current election, it really won’t be necessary as— win or lose— the ILC will assimilate into the new Texas government. If the ILC wins major gains the election though, then we would give the Railroad a major position in their local area.

@LaserExplorer9 The Towns would also have to apply for membership because the ILC doesn’t do charity work. So basically, representatives of the Railroad AND the towns apply for ILC membership and receive it. The Railroad is incorporated into the ILC military as an independent unit with limited oversight in their respective region. They would be well equipped and a ILC Special Forces group would be assigned to them as a liaison.

How about this, the ILC are approached by Railroad representatives with a deal. The railroad have been helping several villages and towns, but they have a problem. Raiders are constantly attacking and the railroad doesn’t have enough firepower to deal with the raiders. So the railroad joins the ILC in best hopes for both factions.

@LaserExplorer9 I think those terms sound fair, and would definitely constitute grounds for a mini-comic and a Wasteland file. But to me, the terms really just sound like the Railroad faction joining the ILC, which I’m totally okay with too. And if you do just join the ILC, you wouldn’t lose your group’s distinction. It would stay the Railroad but just become Coalition aligned if that makes sense. A coalition is really just an alliance of similar groups.
