Frontline tank of the Banished forces. Set was made using parts from the Skiff Intercept and Banished AA turret. Although I have already made a Marauder tank (check it out here on my projects), I wanted to challenge myself and make a second version using parts from the Halo Infinite sets. Although it might not look verbatim of the Halo Wars 2 model, I believe I gave it some justice in block form using the parts at hand. If you want an in-universe explaination, you can view it as a different variant of the Marauder within the ranks of the Banished on Zeta Halo. Onto the details:
The tank features an armored hull, turnable engine pods, reinforced spikes and a functional turret. I kept the same gearbox design of the Skiff to allow the turret to swivel a full 360 degree spin. Simply turn the wheel on the front (has the blue slope pieces and yellow stripes) to rotate the turret in the back. Turret also has a functional launcher built in. I tried to make it have an armored and heavy look without being overly excessive. I also wanted it to look extra spikey/pointy on the front end to give it that brute specialty of ramming stuff. I also included rail sections to add figures to but I may go over this in a separate post. Overall I'm fairly proud of it and really enjoyed building it.
And congrats to those who guessed correctly in my sneak peak!
