@Spacekamper well about the brute brains I think in lore there reasonable intelligent it's just that they have theese fits of rage while fighting

Take into account their weapons choice as well. Spartans have a ton of ranged weapons so they could manage to easily win from afar, but different brutes have different weapons, and the gravity hammer is an incredibly strong weapon that could easily crush a spartan.

Well the brutes have limited brain capacity, Craig is an exception. Spartans on the other hand have a advanced brains, in he other, other hand brutes have more strength than Spartans and are taller in cannon, but they are only taller if it’s a spartan 2 with are normal sized so I think if you have a normal brutes vs a tall spartan like chief I think the spartan will win because of the advanced brain and overall armor strength
