Got the new ghost but noticed how the guns were way too low compared to how they are in game, plus how skinny the center console is and the inaccurate steering handle, so I tossed the instructions and started building myself. Had some spare parts from other sets I could use to push it all the way to where it needs to be. Overall I really like how it turned out despite some issues. I also did not have two gray colored studded slants (or whatever the piece is called) where the steering handles connect, but this isn't a fault of my design, rather my lack of pieces (guess I should have bought two lol).
Pros of the redesign:
1. The autocannons are (roughly) where they're supposed to be according to the in-game model.
2. More detailed and accurate sides and underside with the wing grills, wider midsection, and center console.
3. more accurate steering handles which are two separate aircraft-like sticks for each hand, rather than a handlebar like in the default model.
Cons of the redesign:
1. It's overall a bit fragile. The wings are secure but a little wobbly, and the inside isn't rock solid like on the default out-of-the-box model.
2. missing the outer points on the wings.
3. the tops of the wings aren't flush with the hood as they should be.
