Here is my custom build of 2015. I have been working on it since the beginning of the year.
It was originally inspired by the cryo bay scene aboard the fallen Forward unto Dawn at the very beginning of Halo 4. I tried to give it that damaged effect on the outside as if this had once been a part of a space frigate. Thinking about this build from a play value perspective, I made the roof removable, as well as having hinges to allow the roof to stay attached but open up like hanger doors.
It must be at least 2000 pieces, consisting of mostly black, grey and white, from these sets: 2x Arctic Wolverine, 4x Snowbound Rocket Warthog, 3x Shortsword, 9x Cryo Bay, 1x Falcon with LP, 4x Gremlin, 4x Gausshog vs Locust, 2x Revenant, 1x Phantom.
It must have cost me around £200 buying joblots from eBay. At some point in the future I would like to extend this build to 17 Cryo Bays by adding another 8.
Height: 15cm
Width: 50cm
Length: 45cm
