I loved this story. UNSC sent 300 spartans in to take down a refueling station close to the border, but the conditions were horibble and a lot of the spartans got slaughter be cubbie snipers because they had little cover, and 2 spartans jumped in water and saved themselves. Station didnt get destroyed if I remember correctly. Big fat F for the UNSC.

They launched an attack of spartans to destroy a cruiser or something but they lost. Good thing I've watched halofollower and hiddenxperia

The UNSC launched an attack on a covenant plant with 300 spartan 3s of Beta company. When a covenant capitol ship interveined all but 4 spartans fought back, as team foxtrot fought their way inside. 2 of the spartans of the team fell, and only 2 remained. The remaining two jumped into a nearby lake after planting the bomb to survive the following heatwave. When the plant did blow, it incintergrated all of the covenant forces and the capitol ship, as well as the remaining spartans. After the battle, only Spartans Tom B292 and LucyB091 survived. Lucy was rendered mute after seeing the unspeakable horrors of the aftermath, and the duo escaped the planet on an exfiltration craft. (If I got some of the details wrong, it's because it has been a while since I read this book)

The UNSC attacked a covenant refueling plant with 300 SPARTAN-IIs, namely Beta company, and the attack was going well until a Covenant capital ship intervened and threatened to prevent the spartans from destroyed the refueling plant. Wile the bulk of the spartans stayed outside the faciluty to combat the troops the capital ship was sending down, a team of four spartans went into the plant and destroyed the tubes that pumped coolant into the reactor of the refueling plant, losing two of the spartans in the process. The remaining two spartans jumped into a lake that was next to the plant to avoid the ensuing explosion from the overheated reactor. When the plant did blow, the explosion was large enough to destroy the capital ship and incinerate all of the ground troops, including the remaining 298 spartans.
