Sets barely in stores

A couple years ago I saw the call of duty and halo mega construx sets and was immediately interested in them. After a while I started to notice the sets being less apparent in the stores I normally see them at. I was wondering if there is a reason to why the sets are in lower variety now compared to before.

Mega brands distribution has gotten worse over the years. i used to see cod and halo all the time at W*l-Mart. now i can't find them in the same area. this is not just your problem

After toys r us went down the tube distribution was thrown into disarray. Walmarts had a new deal with a certain competitor who bought more isle space including megas normal areas. Targets then got most sets in stock or the scalpers online got to them. Ie some of the halo heroes line never appeared in the us storea due to this issue. Now walmarts are slowly starting to stock mega halo, cod, human, and aliens sets but only the small ones. This year most sets were target exclusive or dollargeneral exclusive.
