SDCC 2018: any news/info/coverage?

The white Spartans I was given were from the Revenant Raid set.

I feel like Mattel has just cut back on Mega Consrux's marketing. Why not just reveal some stuff on this website during SDCC? Utilize the exposure of SDCC to showcase new product. How costly is it to update the website with some new pics or put them on social media. Seems so odd.

Oh, I have them. Didn't realise they were exclusive, they were everywhere here in Australia.

I think it was a Walmart exclusive in the USA. I also kinda remember the set was going to come out soon after wave Alpha, but neither Alpha or the Revenant Raid set was out yet at the time of SDCC. So the free Spartans were my first taste of the new articulation Spartan. Was just a really cool thing for the Mega Bloks rep to do for me.

It does seem as if there isn't as much care or concern in the brand anymore much less their driving customer base.

Ah well, if they don't want my money I'm certain I can do other things with it.
