Re: What is your fav MB halo weapon?

Since the thread is MB Halo weapons, here's my favorite three that I think we could use more of; Fuel Rod Gun https://s2.megabrandsmedia.com/catalog/styles/large/public/parts/976941-9372.png Needle Rifle https://s1.megabrandsmedia.com/catalog/styles/large/public/parts/969282-4477.png MA37 Assault Ri...

Re: Star Trek: Build off

I may give this a go.

Re: NMPD Pelican Airbase - Photoshoot and Review

I did have more pics (around 20). But the Gallery only accepts 5 per shot. Next time I review something big I might try and get away with using multiple Gallery uploads.

And I see your point about the name, but who calls the Master Chief "Johnathan" ? ;)

Re: How do you sort your blocks?

I used to keep my bricks separated by brand and color, but nowadays it's just by color. Sometimes I'll toss similar colors together in the same bin (several different uncommon shades of green for example) but they're mostly all in individual tubs. Those disposable plastic food containers you can buy...

NMPD Pelican Airbase - Photoshoot and Review

https://s3.megabrandsmedia.com/2015/10/18/16/05/37/r/1000x525/AO2mMuCo7R.jpg The NMPD Pelican Airbase is an interesting set. As the fourth entry into the Halo Signature Series, expectations are high and, when compared to previous Signature sets, it sits in a unique place. I’ll get into all that in-...

Re: NYCC 2015

Did you see the new TMNT sets? And dude, you did not mention that you were in the recaps! Yeah, I'm all legit and stuff ;) Didn't see any actual TMNT sets at the show. I uploaded some pretty detailed pictures of everything in the booth to Little Deino's Photobucket account (you can probably do a li...

Re: Prong or Peg?

Stud or Lug.

Every once in a while it's a post. I've never called it a Peg (I use that term for the small round bits that fit into the back of MEGA Microfigs) and I don't think I'd ever call it a Prong.

Re: Dino-Riders

Well, I've personally harassed some of the top people at MEGA about this, so they're not totally unaware. ;) And yes, good dinosaur models are key. This is however, VERY difficult in this day and age with the field of Mesozoic paleobiology moving so quickly. A great example is Spinosaurus, the look ...

Re: MOC Builders advice.

This one seems pretty obvious, but I have to remind myself of it constantly: Remember that any parts that won't be visible on the finished model can be any color at all. Don't waste your good pieces on interior bracing or assemblies that will never be seen. You've got a lot of bricks and they're all...
