That's fair, I found that method safer than using a sharp knife which some recommended.
Trying to make a deep cut with a sharp knife on a small part is very dangerous.

If you want to put it on a figure my recommendation would be to get a very thin needle, heat it up and draw with the needle.
Then use some watered down paint to fill in the marks. Once that dries coat it with some clear paint, nail polish, etc...

I would describe those as marble not silver.
But as I said in my previous post, I can see how those could be referred to as silver.

They didn't come with weapons, but I had plenty to spare.

I've seen a few people selling batches of weapons on ebay as well, so thats also an option if someone doesn't have extra.
