So you haven’t played it, but you hate it. How would you know unless you try it? Next time D1 or D2 is on free play days or games with gold, you should try it. If you try it and still hate it, I’ll drop it. If you like it, then maybe you misjudged.

Best friend has it, so I can safely say, that I have access to a copy that isn't mine, but I can still tell you how bad the game is.

Ive said this several times and several others have said it better go watch the ActMan's videos on it and Ihateeverything and I MEAN ALL OF THEM.

Because the writing is on the wall Destiny is not a good game.



Lootboxes, scummy DLC, terrible writing (especially evident in the first game)

the writers contradicting themselves (Destiny 2)


Recycled character customization from the first game, recycled weapons from the first game etc I haven't played the game because of how bad it is.


You got ripped off Destiny might be "fun" but how much did you spend on DLC that was supposed to be in the game at launch? Activision basically killed all chance of this game going anywhere.



Destiny tried to replicate halo and it's success's but completely fell flat.

Bungie may have split from Activision but they aren't the same bungie from a decade ago.


Enjoy your ignorance do what you will with the information that is out there because one day it will slap you in the face and you will realise how wrong you were.

Dude, chill out. If people actually enjoy the game, more power to them. I mean, I've never played Destiny. But if someone likes a game, that's their choice. You can't just act all high and mighty, claiming people are ignorant and one day they will know how wrong they are. Don't come here just to tell people they're wrong.

You don't play the game, good on you, however, the truth hurts.
I will fight against games like Destiny, until my dying breath.
The truth is, that the game wouldn't exist, if people didn't buy it.
The fact that people are willing to be ripped off is mind-boggling, and is why I lurk here and there. I cannot bear that such idiocy would be present in the gaming community.
It's as simple as that.

I'm not perfect, I made the mistake of buying SW BF 2 by EA.
That's where I drew the line.
Sure that game has improved, but it's the thought process behind it.

I've made mistakes in the past, Fallout 4 even for 30 dollars with all dlc included it is trash and halo 5, I feel cheated by halo 5.

Honestly Halo 5 has grown on me, sure the campaign is absolute trash (for the majority anyway) but at least the gameplay is enjoyable compared to 4 (in my opinion anyway).

Oh and Survivor, don’t bother, trying to “educate” people on why Destiny is “trash” it’s quite pointless. People have different tastes and your pretty much arguing with a small section of the Destiny community, with facts that could be applied to a large majority of current game trends.

Perhaps this may be one of the reasons Mega issued you a warning.

Possibly why I got the warning.
And yes, it applies to a big part of the AAA industry, which is why Destiny really shouldn't have support.
But yes, we all have different tastes, and unfortunately, some people really don't care about what they get.

I'll be honest destiny is a franchise of somewhat lost potential. But with bungie and activisoms split along with forsaken being a genuinely good expansion with good content and the season pass keep the game in a living world state. Destiny is at it's best, better then D1 after rise of iron. Is it perfect, no but it's a game that's good enough to recommend to people who like looter shooters.

You know H5 campaign was garbage but the multi is too good to write it off. :D
