Halo Reach: Emile!

Hey guys! This Friday I’m signing off for the weekend with what’s likely my personal best and final iteration of the fan favorite character - Emile! Part of a noble team commission that I’ll be featuring through the weeks, this figure is unique compared to my previous versions in that it is the single most accurate iteration I’ve ever created. Thanks to dougie_d73 and ls3d_printing Emile is at his peak featuring a fully 3D printed Helmet with carved skull, 3D combat Belt, Tactical Softcase, and Kukri Knife sheath, along with 2 hand sculpted wrists - all hand painted. To start, I repainted the figure in Eshin Grey, adding a fade to the lower legs with Dawnstone Grey. Multiple areas have hints of Mechanicus and Corvus Grey, along side Abbadon Black, Retributer Gold, Screaming Bell, Yriel Yellow, Dorn Yellow, and Mephiston Red details. The visor is a bronze/Leadbelcher scheme to add some darker tones like in game, with the Softcase is repainted in Dryad Bark Brown. Even smaller details such as the caution logos and lights are painted using Flash Gitz Yellow, Baharroth Blue, Moot Green, and Khorne Red. The figure was finished with a dry brush and black wash before I of course repainted his iconic Reach Shot gun. I am SO impressed with dougie_d73s prints which you should TOTALLY check out.
