Recently, I purchased the 20&1 Scorpion set, and I really like it. Although I haven't built any of the variations (other than the standard Scorpion) due my own personal dislike for how the app instructions are laid out (I prefer the style with colored studs and arrows pointing where the bloks go), I really like the creative concept of being able to make your own tank.
What was the reasoning behind this design choice, and were there any other ways the designers tried to implement it before settling on the set we got?
Also, are there any plans (spoiler free) to make more sets using the multiple&1 style?
