Seeing as this is in customs and mods section, I assume this is for customs? And if this is so, what brand do you prefer?

I'm personally going to paint warhammer minis with the express goal to make use of them for some gags in "Wasteland - Herr Doktor". They're not too big compared to MCX figures.
