What's the best way to make Batman cowl ears?
I am using plasticine, blu-tak, sculpy but whatever I do getting both ears the right shape, size AND the same is proving very difficult. It doesn't help that they're tiny.

Right. I have managed to sculpt his ears so they are very close to the same size and shape.
I've given the head a coat of black acrylic paint.
He'd look good in a MOC but this is for Stop Motion and I was expecting his ears to harden... but they haven't.
Any suggestions?

Arrrgggggh... Seems the clay I used it oil-based non-hardening.
Will need to try again.

Oof, that’s rough.

Try an epoxy putty like apoxie sculpt or green stuff. They come in two compounds that you mix together, then harden over time after you've sculpted it into what you want. For paint, I've heard good things about the testors and citadel brands. If you're on a budget walmart has some enamel paints which while not as good as the two previously mentioned should be serviceable in the short term.

I haven’t tried Testors but Citadel is good.
