The "old school" way of applying tiny tampos onto action figures was to use a paint screen tooling ( think a piece of metal with a hole in it the exact shape of the design and piece you want to paint onto ).

With regard to over the counter paint... outside of using a toothpick (really. I do it) and a clear coat there is one specific over the counter paint that adheres extremely well ABS.


and the name eludes me at this exact moment. I'll check my files later.
I just looked up LEF UV printers, and while these are PERFECT for doing the painting, they look way too perfect for what I see on current figures, as they are not always lined up correctly on the figure and the paints aren't always 100%.

I have a feeling they're using stamp printers, but I could be wrong.

But as for the LEF UV printers, WOW, if only I could find a place that would allow you to use it to customize figures like a Kinkos.
