It’s the lack of weapons not the rack I have issues with

Ahh the image has been recycled. I looked up the Castle Grayskull (dont have, maybe one day) real orange weaponrack with grey weapons. The spear uses a two peg bottom to center one peg slim brick, then has a short clip to hold spear but still the spear rests on the bump peg below, as that plane would be be off by the bump peg below half the height of the slim brick, the plane is only off by 2 or 3 mm because of the bottom peg. As for the long pole axe a long clip is used and is so easy to push in to far or push in by putting weapon away making the long pole axe lean even more with the bottom peg bump out. The new square design with no diagonal part completely fixes the lean with those two weapons and rests on the same plane as the other weapons. I can see how mega construx's tryed to keep the old school look but won't work with diagonal part in front. If you have this Castle Grayskull set, that orange rack just won't look right with the two weapons on different depths from the rest.

@Ge0b0x -- the image was recycled from one product to another, just recolored. The image was first used in Castle Grayskull. The castle has a weapons rack that doesn't have the issue you're describing. Why? Well, if i recall correctly, those staffs go onto clips that have extra length to allow for all the weapons to be on one plane. So there shouldn't have been a need to take out pieces to solve a problem that was already solved. I imagine the change had to do with just making the build a smidgen less complicated on this set.

Looks like that extra diagonal part was on top and taken out to keep the weapons on the same vertical plane or the bottom of the weapons would stick out from the top, causing them to lean back and not straight up and down. If you could see the side view it would stand out.

ya I noticed that as well but I'm not complaining I'm happy with anything
