It's finally done. My Titanfall Pulse Blade Pilot. I I didn't finish the MGL or Wingman, but I did finish the R-101. The remaining two will be finished on Thursday before I get back to building the NMPD Pelican. Of all of the customs I have made, I don't think I have any that I absolutely love as much as this one.
There is an embarrassing reason for this: I have never once made a custom figure based on a character I play as in any game. Even the Destiny franchise, and I have almost over 2000 hours sunk into those games. This Pulse Blade Pilot (Which despite using the default color scheme, looks remarkably like the one I run in game.) is the first figure I have ever owned/made, that truly represents ME in that figure's universe. This is the first figure I have ever had that I can look at and say, "Yep, that's me." Many of you already have figures like this (JoeFilms and Murple come to mind) and I am now joining that list of people. Long, meandering ramble aside, on to the details of the figure:
One of the most important aspects to me personally when I made this figure is that it had to have a removable Pulse Blade somewhere. As far as I know, Mega has never made a knife piece that even closely resembles the Pulse Blade, so I went with the ODST knife as a stand in due to it's smaller size. You may not be able to see it's handle sticking out in the photos, but it's sheathed on the right leg. It's also really easy to remove and put back in.
I need to mention that I forgot the green stripe across the four ammo pouches, so some of the photos will have it (I ran back to the garage to paint it on when I noticed) and others won't. More pictures whenever I feel like posting them, and I now can sit back and wait for Spartanz19 to post his Pulse Blade Pilot that he's been hyping up for a month now. I can't wait to see it.
BTW Spartanz19, I looked at the Warship Collage Camo on my in game pilot, and I feel so bad for you if you decided to give your figure that camo.
