Marine flames were first introduced in Halo Wars as an anti-infantry unit and was one of the first figures produced by Halo Mega Bloks in 2009 as a promotion for Halo Wars.
The Marine flames were one of the most favorite figures of many and very popular in the early years of Halo Mega Bloks, although when Halo 4 season arrived they became very rare to see. The last ones appeared almost at the beginning of the super articulated figures (2013 to 2014), being in series 9 of blind bags and in the ultimate combat pack (the first set of 20 figures).
Later they returned in their new articulated version, the first being an exclusive figure of the SDCC being blue with the golden flamethrower. For 2017 (the first year of Mega Construx) they became a little more common seen in the Warrior series, in a cyclop, and in the Yankee squad. Here I also have photos to compare the two versions, its first version (which I think is from the hawk if I'm not mistaken or the green pack) and the 10th Anniversary (which was based on the marine flames of series 1)
In my opinion the Marine Flames are unique (I always wanted to have one and I got it thanks to a friend who gave it to me) possibly one of my favorite figures from the early years of Halo Mega Bloks.
What do you think of the old Marine Flames? (or Flame marine although they are called both ways). Today there will be a second Throwback Thursday post (being a custom) that I will show soon so stay safe at home and have a good day or night.
