~ Seventeen years. Through the infinite doorways of the Starscape, the one known as the Riftward Traveler explored the reaches of the multiverse... for seventeen years. He visited worlds all too similar to his own, but never the same, rarely returning twice. He explored worlds covered in desert terrain, populated by beasts and monsters, with no intelligent life to be found. He explored realms filled with mountain ranges and peaks that touched the sky, where people lived for centuries. He explored lands full of tropical forests and life, worlds of desolate wastelands, and seas that stretched forever. He traveled among these dimensions, called by curiosity and adventure, to discover whatever he could find, and to learn to survive in the harshest environments creation had to offer. But after seventeen long years, something else called to him, and his journey would lead him to a world at war, where the white grass would be stained with blood and burned by fire, and the sky was clouded by smoke and debris. But whether by chance or fate, along this Riftward Road to destiny, he found himself somewhere all too familiar. A world where the snow never melts, yet the air is carried on a warm summer breeze. The world where, years before, he stumbled across a doorway in the middle of nowhere. The world where he crafted a device carrying the single object that could open these gateways to the universe. The world where a single step placed him in a completely new realm, and started him on a seventeen-year-long journey across the reaches of creation. He was, if only for a fleeting moment... at home. ~
Thought this would be a good time to expand on the story of the Riftward traveler as well as show off my recent use of my own handiwork; I custom sculpted my actual hair for the figure I used as the young Riftward Traveler, and painted my previous head that I used for myself with gray hair. I now intend to start working on the next part of Dawn of Darkness, because I feel like it needs to get done so I can get to the stuff I'm excited to show.
So long,
-Gregor
