As a child of the '80's, I grew up playing with the Big 3 of toys (MOTU, GI Joe, Transformers). I always wished they had been the same size so I could play with them together. With Mega Construx, I'm able to do just that. MC has given us some great MOTU figures with glimpses of more to come. Customizing allows for adding even more figures that we probably won't see. It also allows for customs of characters there's no way we'll see in this scale.
I've been working my way through the GI Joe universe, starting with the good guys, for a while now. I have '82, '83, '84, and '85 done and am about halfway through '86. I'm doing them a bit differently -- characters that had multiple releases, I'm doing my favorite version of the character. It's not necessarily the most iconic, just the one I prefer, personally. Posted is '82.
