Part 2 of my Mars Research Outpost custom that shows the inside. The entrance is marked by a ramp that leads to a pressurized decontamination/atmospheric room with 2 vertical sliding doors. This allows the astronauts to breath fresh air upon entering the other modules as well as prevention of decompression to the Mars atmosphere. The left wing is where samples are stored and analyzed. The center wing is designated for supplies, suits, and oxygen storage. The right wing is the communications center (beneath the satellite up top). Overall it was a fun and interesting build. I wanted to include a rec room/bunk area but sadly didn't have the space for it. If parts and funds were available, I probably would expand it to include such rooms or just create a separate living module. Hope you all like it!
