Marines and evacuees sit and wait for a rumored Oni pelican to meet up with them with a SPARTAN

After evacuating the airbase by Pelican the surviving Marines stand watch while waiting for a ONI Pelican carrying a Spartan and Spooks to arrive. The Army sniper team takes up on side to keep watch with thier nigtvision gear and scopes activated. The civilians keep each other company with the civilian Docter helps out the Corpsmen with a Wounded Army trooper. The sabre pilot states into the fire reminiscent of past experiences of lost battles and the following nightmares that trouble her. Some marines try to joke to on another for tomorrow is going to be a long slog of firefights after another. Moral is low and Hopefully the ONI Pelican does arrive with the Promised Spartan to lead them and the survivors to continued survival till The Navy can gain air space superiority in orbit to send down much needed supplies and troops besides the stranded and spread thin Odsts that have already been deployed.
