Looks great! I got a second warthog run as well but not for the figures, I enjoy custom builds more than figures as I turned one hog into a troop hog but I love what you do with your figures!

That is a really neat custom. The custom looks like the halo 3 arbiter more than the official one does.

@TheOriginalCollector They have a slight bit of grit to them, yes. I like the feel of the painted figures more than my non-painted ones. I like the way the acrylic paint feels when I pick up a figure. I'm not a fan of how smooth and slick plastic feels, and that slight grittiness that you get with matte paints make my painted figures feel a bit less slippery and a little dryer than their unpainted counterparts. I don’t know how to negate the tactile effects of the paint, and I haven’t ever given it any though until now, either. Sorry that I'm not able to help..

@TheOriginalCollector Acrylic paints with a satin sheen tend to not feel that way, which is why I have started using more of the blue paint that I own. However, a way to remove that from your figures is to use some sort of clear protective coating. I use a clear protective finish spray on most of my figures to both make the paint last longer as well as make the sheen of the whole figure match.

Both are quite beautiful. The one from thw actual set is more elegant, yours is more gritty. Fantastic work, man!

The one to the left, it looks amazing with all the shading! Oh and I have a question, when acrylic paint dries, it feels grippy and rough when you touch it. Do all your figures feel like that or do you have a way to get rid of it?
