Collection after 2 & 1/2 weeks

It was my birthday on the 27th of last month. I had gotten angry and tired of Legos. I liked their city sets but they kept recycling old sets and charging way too much for them, there were multiple aisles of just new licensed sets that were way too expensive and I knew I would never by, and other reasons I decided to stop giving Lego my money. So I looked at that one small part of an aisle that had other brands of brick building toys and decided to give Mega Halo a try and I am glad I did. The figures are so much better and the prices are so much better. I hadn't had anything to do with Halo since Halo 3 so it felt nostalgic to me. So I decided to get the Warthog and Ghost sets and it got me hooked. Problem was the sets and blind bags were so hard to find that I went and hunted in different stores, which was actually fun. Finding figures in local grocery stores and Walgreens made me all the more excited. It's like hunting for gold, even though I still wish that Mega could stock more and have DTC.
Now I have 6 vehicles, 3 of the helmets (I CANT FIND THE YELLOW HELMET), 7 banished (I hate Brutes and think they're they worst mistake Halo made), 16 Covenant (I love Elites and wish Mega would have more unique figures for them), 10 Marines (Cannon-fodder), 24 Spartans (why so many? Only 4 of them are doubles. I want more unique Covenant, Spartans are boring to me).

I used to paint Warhammer so I plan on trying to customize some Covenant figures when I get the time to do so. I already went on a spending spree for this (which I dont advise, be responsible with your money. Save it up and buy things as a personal rewards), but these figures are so inexpensive and I want to see Mega grow and rise to the rank of Lego.

I have a lot planned for these, expect a diorama to be ready by tomorrow or Tuesday. I am building it with my nephew.
