Venator was one of ONI's deadliest soldiers during the Human Covenant War. It was a weapon that even the UNSC was afraid of. His combat techniques were incomparable, he was a terror machine, apparently, he has no mercy on anyone. ONI went as far as trying to kill him to test if he was the perfect weapon against the Master Chief in case he rebelled. The only mistake was that ONI never knew that he was never on the side of the UNSC or ONI.
Venator rebelled against ONI years after the war as part of a plan, to show that ONI is afraid of its own creations, showing evidence of other events that happened as well as for example the case of Echo, Muto until the projects classified as the T-259 and project Legin which ONI's higher ups were shaking just by mentioning these cases.
Venator in the current time has become a bounty hunter who kills for pleasure and will do his job in time. He has hunted targets that not even ONI could finish during in just a short time, that even Venator joked that he would kill the master chief if he wanted to, but he knows that humanity needs their "toy hero " to save them.
He has even worked with certain insurrectionist groups and with the Banished in missions that are still unknown. Which ONI believes he has greatly helped the Banished grow in strength by giving them information on secret ONI bases.
ONI calls for the absolute extermination of this Spartan at all costs.
