This set was previewed at Power-Con earlier this year. We received the first production samples, so we thought it would be fun to give a peek behind the scenes.
The Mega Construx design team always wants to strike the right mix of vehicles vs gear vs playsets in the Masters line. So, when we planned out the new Skeletor Heads sets, we picked one of each.
This play set stars Trap-Jaw. This is the first time he is released in Mega Construx form and he is sporting his Mini-Comics colors. He includes 4 interchangeable arms attachments. The turret is based on the one included in the original 1982 Castle Grayskull. It is slightly larger than the one that was released with the Mega Construx Grayskull. The Design Team felt that it needed an upgrade, and it gives fans options to add some firepower to their display.
Since this is an Evil Warriors set, the base plate is molded in purple. There is also a computer console included so Trap-Jaw can plan his nefarious schemes.
Trap-Jaw and the Laser Turret will be available in early 2021 and will retail for approximately 9.99$.
