Halo 5: Guardians Arbiter!

Hey guys! This Monday I am so so excited to showcase what I’d certainly consider one of my personal best renditions of my ALL TIME favorite #halo character as a new custom: Halo 5: Guardians, Thel Vadam! The arbiter Kaidon armor (seen in Halo 5) is probably my favorite covenant armor to date, and working on a miniature version was just as awesome. I began this project by actually carving out space between the mandible guards and upper rim of the helmet, to make a more realistic shape like in game. Next, I repainted the entire armor in Retributer armor gold, adding Corvus black for the under suit and Dryads bark brown for the skin on the head and left arm. I did a dry brush of Evil Sunz on the left arm, using the same color to do the tribal markings all over the armor. I also painted some smaller Grey pin stripes and even made sure to include all of the brown buckles and straps on the under suit. To finish up the figure, I gave the entirety of the armor a gracious black wash as well as a medium full coat to finish! Posed in these shots of course is Arbiters legendary sword, the Prophets Bane! This was a gift from a friend of mine in Mexico that was given at Spartan Fest. The piece comes with the sword and an additional hilt! This is a PERFECT representation of the iconic weapon - absolutely killer in Arby’s hands! Let me know your thoughts below, Enjoy!
