Hey everyone, I got a custom figure today!
This is my custom Halo Mega Construx Spartan Mark V(b) figure. I used the Mark V(b) figure from the series 2 blind bags to make it.
He is the first member made of Fireteam Alpaca, using all of the series 2 blind bag figures.
I started with sanding down the arm joints so paint wouldn’t rub off when playing with the figure. Then priming it with chaos black primer, it still stinks in my garage. After letting the primer dry it’s into base-coating, I put 2 layers of my green onto each piece for that. Details are the next part, I did details in blue, silver, dark silver, red, gold for the visor, and what’s meant to be a metallic blue but it doesn’t work. After all the details I blackwashed it then dry brushed silver on. After all of that the final step was spraying it with a gloss varnish for protection and putting it together once it dried.
Paints I used:
Citadel chaos black primer
Citadel monitorium gloss varnish
Citadel death world forest
Citadel macragge blue
Citadel Mephiston red
Citadel grey knights steel
Citadel iron warriors
Citadel retributor armor
Citadel Abbadon black
Citadel corax white
Citadel nuln oil
Turbo dork blue steel (i don’t recommend this)
That’s all for today, thanks for checking out the figure and I hope you have a good day
