Sorry for taking long on these reviews, had a busy 2 weeks but ill try to get back to posting more often.
These sets i got them through amazon, the red turret being around 26 dollars and the brown one being 20 dollars. They are overpriced but not as much as i thought, as they are 7 year old sets.
Sprockets Heroic Turret:
Character: For this set we get Sprocket, a skylander from the robot/mech faction. The does come with a lot of nice molds and detail, will some great prints! The only thing is that she has very little positioning. BlHer equipment are also very nice molds as we get a large wrench, and a cool molded gold gas tank for her back
Build:
the build was great! Design was interesting and how each section of the build was separated and then put together around the end. The pieces themselves have some great prints and very nice colors like the gold and translucent red. You can spin the turret a full 360 degrees at the base of the build, put a figure to sit in it, and shoot the cannon by pushing a small red button, which works very well. We also get a dark brown chest with some riches inside.
Sky Turret Defense:
Character: For this one we get Chill, a skylander from the water element. She has some nice molds and nice colors, but lacks detail and positioning. Her equipment is a double sided blade and a shield, but they lack detail and molds arent that impressive.
Build:
Has a large unique mold right of the bat, which makes up basically the whole base.
Build process was very simple, but aesthetically it looks great. You can open up a small hatch at the top, and barely fit a figure, and shoot the cannon by pushing a small grey button. Also comes with a light brown chest with riches.
Overall Thoughts:
Both are good, they dont go over and above but they are satisfactory. I prefer the Sprockets heroic turret cause it has more detail and work on it, like the features, figures, and design. But the Sky turret defense is still great but lacks in a lot of aspects. These sets you can find some in amazon for ok prices, as most have them have only gone up by like 10-20 dollars. Walmart also has some for rly good prices! either way hope you enjoy and stay safe!
