I guess this is more of a proof of concept showing off articulation with a few poses. Usually I don't like to show customs until they're done, but this figure has been sitting around for a couple years now and it's pretty clear it likely won't ever be finished so I don't mind showing it in this state.
The waist joint was glued in place, then cut higher up the chest, followed with rounding it off and making a socket while the upper half of the torso was hollowed out and a ball was placed inside. This new joint provides a swivel as well as ab crunch which offers new possibilities with posing. Also new are the ankles which are also ball joints. This allows for wide stances and more stable footing which is a technique I would later use on my tall brute and tall brute chieftain. The neck was also lengthened a bit.
This is actually the second 'tall' figure I tried making, the first being the Arbiter which is also scrapped. I'll post it if anyone is interested. Also included is a size comparison with an unaltered Master Chief.
