ONI File Z343-0114
This uncommon Flood Pureform has a specialty role amongst the many Flood varieties. While not overly aggressive, it is still considered very dangerous, especially when paired with other forms. Subject is distinct from standard Tank Forms due to its large dorsal, crystalline spikes. This special appartus takes part in the forms' innate ability to discharge large amounts of a mucous like substance onto potential hosts. The discharge traps the host long enough for infection forms to subjugate. While not impossible to escape, it is very unlikely unless one is a Spartan or very lucky individual. The lower appendages are very strong and stable, allowing the form to traverse through puddles of its own discharge. The upper appendages are tube like in structure and only seem to serve as conduits for the discharge. No other offensive strategies have been observed as of this recording.
