I think the helmet should be switched out for an ODST-ish helmet, painted grey. Then put a couple of tally marks on the chestpiece, then a couple of grey marks on each pauldron. Keep the boots blue, then paint the thigh pieces grey.

I say make the shoulder pads dark green and the boot's and helmet green too.
