i like the base plates because it allows poses that the pegs don't, i realize it takes some of the "mystique" out of the scenarios but it helps me...appreciate the suggestion, maybe i will change it.

This is very well made. Good work. Only thing is suggest is take advantage of the base plates you have. Ala don't have them on stands on the base plate.
