No One Suspects A Thing

A E̶l̶i̶t̶e̶ Spartan makes their way to a base with marines who have never seen a Spartan before, and gives some encouraging words on continuing to fight the Banished. Here a marine recites part of the speech the “brave” Spartan gave,

“Wort, wort wort! I mean uh-hi my brothers, erm I mean marines! Today I just wanted to say we stand no chance against the Banished, so surrender to them and they will show you mercy! Wort, wort! Brothers, I-I mean marines desert your bases and go home! You stand no chance against the Banished, they will use your body as a footstool! Leave so that it may be a easy victory for us and th- I um....I’m getting a call I have to go.”

Within the next week all the marines had disappeared supposedly last being seen at a airport, as to where they went who knows...
