While organizing my containers of MCX I came across this very old set, apparently I own fire team Osiris. One problem thought, whatever factory made this didn’t understand the word silver dry brush and just poured silver paint on them basically, any ways to remove the dry brush by any chance?

Isopropyl. 30-50%. you don' t need anything too volatile. Use it with a quit or cheap toothbrush you can find from a dollar store to remove the excess paint. Great set over all. I would honestly refrain from taking it off because it takes away from the "originality" of the set. But it up to you, as it is you set. And I do see what you mean by the silver paint being poured on. Looks like someone was lazy or had a bad day at the factor. Anyways, Best of luck.
