After weeks of work, I’m proud to finally be able to present my custom of Tovarus from Halo Infinite.
Through a lot of trial and error, I took the chestplate, helmet, shoulder pads, forearm guards, and knee armour from his in-game model, resized it all to MCX scale, 3-D printed it, dyed it, and added a black paint wash.
There’s a few niggling issues I’m not entirely satisfied with. The paintjob on the insignia is a little sloppy, I think I've glued on the chestplate kind of crooked, and I managed to accidentally snap off one of his helmet horns and part of a shoulder plate, but I'm just going to pass that all off as battle damage and move on with my life, because I can't be bothered to go through the whole process again. I still need to do some custom work on his head to give him his in-game hairstyle, or I might just wait for Mega to release a version themselves.
I’ve armed him with my new Cindershot design, and I’ve also included a pic of Miranda showing-casing my Heatwave. Similar to Tovarus’ armour, these were both made by scaling the in-game models down to MCX-compatible size.
