ith our previous success still in our heads we thought we’d get a chance to rest, how wrong we were. Shortly after our charge the flood arrived, and turned the place into an alien hellhole. As we sprayed fire into every direction, flashes of the day we entered the cursed Forerunner structure flew through our minds, the memories hurting as much as bullets. It was then that I realized that the sangheili that had previously saved me was quickly being overwhelmed by flood, That’s when I returned the favor.
