Battle Of Cole’s River

On the colony of Reach, Cole’s River sits in a mostly uninhabited forest. An Insurrectionist outpost is by the river, with over thirty Insurrectionists. A UNSC platoon locates the outpost and moves in to attack, with Victor Squad taking the high ground by the river, where an Insurrectionist boat patrols. Meanwhile, a helicopter containing a fireteam of Marines lands South of the outpost, taking a position by their landing zone, while the fireteam’s leader observes the enemy movements with her sniper. An ODST and two Spartans escort a UNSC Termite unmanned vehicle East of the outpost, and the Master Chief waits close by. However, a large group of Covenant have also detected the outpost, and hope to claim it. A modified Skiff built for water takes on the riverboat, and a Covenant raiding party prepares to strike from a hill West of the outpost. With the Insurrectionists and UNSC oblivious to the Covenant, who will win?
