Soooooooo some of you have read the two or three comic episodes I put out, the ones with the big action figures, well I have been wanting to get back to that. And what a better way to do that than introduce a new character! (well I guess there is other ways to get back to it but oh well)
Some backstory for him:
(All lore is not official Halo lore, only for my comics universe)
The year is 2285 and the Human-Covenant war is still raging on. Reach has not fallen yet but the Covenant found a way to Earth and are tearing her down. With most Humans being enrolled in the U.N.S.C. basic jobs are being left empty, such as labor jobs. A small independent research company has finished developing their ECUB (Extreme Condition Utility Bot) and they are being sent into the workforce. The first two months went very well. But with the advancement of disposable A.I. going very well ONI thought they could use the ECUBs as more efficient, replacement soldiers. So ONI tried this out and it worked very well. Instead of being on a hive mind each unit had it's own internal A.I. with slightly different "personalities". The robots were so advanced that they learned on the go allowing for mass production of them without having to train a single one. They even were able to learn advanced tactical moves in way less time than the Human soldiers. In 2287 everything went downhill. The ECUB's A.I. became too self aware and started a rebellion. ONI decided that they take a risk and try to stop the ECUBs and they launched a war. Now ONI was fighting a war on two fronts. ONI decided to focus on the ECUB war. They launched many bombing runs on ECUB camps. ECUB 1927 was a medic for his fellow robot kind. He was shocked by the reality of war. Shocked so badly that he defected to ONI. When he reached ONI they wanted to immediately put him into the fight. ECUB 1927 said he would on fight if he was equipped with a shield and a shotgun (though he doesn't every want to use it).
