3029: Meridian Seers

The New Meridian Empire regularly pursues Sylvinian Seers for previously unknown reasons. After testing a population in situations where pain is prevalent, they find and subdue potential Seers. Once tests confirm whether the individual is a Seer or not, their main cerebral cortex is erased and remapped. The Seer has no sense of reality anymore. Utilizing their ability to sense pain, the Seer then specializes in hunting and eliminating targets. No currently known abused Seers have escaped their captor's grasp.
