Custom Halo MCX Halo 2 ODST

New figure showcase! This is my custom Halo 2 ODST, a commission for a person on Reddit. A healthy mix of classic Hall 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary.

This figure is a partial pop’n’swap between an ODST and one of Megas classic Halo 2 marines. And of course using LS3D’s beautiful Halo 2 ODST helmet. I was able to capture all the detail on the helmet including adding the little white lines. It was really tedious to get the white lines into the creases of the helmet, maybe if he made them a tiny bit deeper and maybe a little bigger if would be a lot easier. I also did a lot of sculpting for the ODST. Mainly sculpting the chest, belt, and thighs. The sculpting was kinda fun on this figure, being a bit tedious and annoying at times but these are definitely my best sculpts yet. Also painted a Halo 2 BR55 (battle rifle) and M7 SMG. Idk what happened to the battle rifle when varnishing but it looks blurry, I think because that can is basically done. Used my new wet palette to make this fig and I love it, definitely what I’m doing to be using from now on.
