Here is my Yootz! Fruit Stand Review.
First off, I got it for around $4, so not bad for that. The bricks themselves seem slightly different from regular mega construx, although I cannot say exactly what is different, they just feel odd. As the pictures show, the scale of the people are like kids, but head size they match up better with Nickelodeon TMNT characters or with Futurama figures, that I just got. (Wal-Mart finally has Series 2 if MCX Heroes!) You can even swap out the hair on the Yootz ppl, and put on say Karai or Fong (because the hair is a bit rubbery) but not the other way around. The hats are also rubbery, and can even fit over the person mask of Raph mutagen canister, and look decent (the green one anyway). The bicycle is a bit on the small size for regular mega construx figures, but they do fit, just looks like they are riding a little kids bike. I'll post some pics later of figures on the bike. The leaf pieces are cool, but I think they have already been in American Girl sets (Not for certain on that). Yootz ppl have just one peg for their feet, but it works ok, for them bring kids.
Overall, if you can get the set for under $5 I'd say it is worth it. You get some interesting little pieces here, fruit looks good, bike is neat (I might get a few more for that bike, so long as the cost stays low, about $3 on Amazon right now), hair and hats can work with other figures to some degree.
And for those wondering, the guy with an afro is my customized version of the Nickelodeon Baxter Stockman. Like I said before, larger Nickelodeon sized turtle figures match up better with the Yootz kids, thus the reason I threw the custom of Baxter in there.
I decided to add a quick little scene of Raph saving the day against Bebop and Rocksteady, just for fun. Enjoy.
Oh and the 3rd pic shows some other Yootz! sets from the instruction booklet.
