The Goshawk is a heavy troop transport used for deploying spartans right into the heat of battle. Armed with a heavy machine gun and two missiles, it is designed to clear an opening right in a Covenant war zone. Spartans are then deployed into the cleared space mid - flight. The Goshawk was only deployed once things got desperate. They saw much use on Reach but the project was soon shut down, for it was too hazardous. There are still a few of these armored vehicles still in commission...
