The Mega Halo line was announced at New York Toy Fair in 2009 and products hit shelves a few months after that. With Halo taking center-spot at this year's edition of Toy Fair, kicking off in a couple of days, we thought it would be fun to go back all the way back to the beginning.
This picture was taken when prototypes for the first toys were nearing completion. If you look closely, the vehicles were hand-painted and were lacking stickers. The Sparrowhawk's canopy was not painted, the Warthog's windshield was a 3D printed part and the figures were prototype casts produced in the shop. Still the line was looking pretty much like it would be released.
So what are you excited to see at this year's Toy Fair?
