Going back to Throwback Thursday (am I the only one who has taken this up again?) Here I show what was one of the first Covenant Drop Pods of Halo Mega Bloks from 2011, the year that celebrated the 10 years of Halo (or also Halo CE 10th Anniversary and Halo CE Anniversary launch)
This Drop pod brings 3 different detailed weapons:
1 Plasma pistol
1 Energy Sword
1 Fuel rod Cannon (Halo 3 Style)
The figure is a white Elite Combat ( Halo 3 Style), although some say this was Rtas Vadum (halfjaw or the ShipMaster) but Mega did not name it.
Curious fact:
In the instructions when you read the details of the set (on the back), it said this elite was female (in the Spanish version). Although maybe it was a translation error because it only shows in Spanish.
Another curious fact is that this was one of the few Halo Mega Bloks sets to bring a Halo 3-style Fuel Rod Cannon.
In my opinion:
It is a good set to start creating dioramas, the weapons are perfect as well as the figure. Small but somewhat cheap (it was like $ 11.99 US dollars in those years)
I would love to see a new version of the Covenant Drop pods soon and maybe the return of the Fuel rod cannon from Halo 3. Because i feel we need more Covenant sets.
I hope you guys like this Throwback Thrusday post, have a good day or night and be safe at home.
