Ok so I'm going to post some pictures and talk about what I enjoyed about the build of this set and how I feel about it now that it is complete.
So first off I personally think the build was fantastic, it was complicated as it should have been but never to difficult. The hardest part was looking for a specific pieace in a giant hoard of similar looking pieaces. Building each pilon was a nice exspirance and then connecting them. At first I didn't think the build for the middle would be enough to support both pilons. Then the detailing on the outside middle of the ship was really nic. The end parts were messy and easyer to put on after the rest of it was built but overall the look of it and the feal it gives was more then sufficient for that slight tanacity. Lasty building the main control area and smoothing everything out was just icing on the cake.
Once all is said and done the ship has a very official look to it that just demands athority. It is a great set pieace meanwile being able to store and transport (it's main job actually) a good amount of figures. Now I wouldn't say it's as extreme as the elephant (of which I can get 60 figures in dinamic poses within its massive gerth) but for practicality and the purpose of the vessel in universe added with the amazing detail makes it a great set, and to add to any covenant army is more then enough to sway a battle in there direction.
Now onto actual astetics. The ship itself has a very smooth a sleek finish similar to that of other covenant vehicles, the color is a light iridescent purple which really just draws your eyes to it and makes it asteticly pleasing to look at. Added with this of course we also have the ability to attach the halo 5 ghost with the same color sceme. For the scale it is appropriate that it can carry at least one vehicle so that is nice. More with more shots later.
Part 2 soon.
(Also for the quarintine zone, once it is finished I will finish unknow patrol and anounce a moc compitition, as for why I haven't uploaded anything, well I've been busy but I have taken over 100 photos, they just need to be edited, take care)
