Well, I mean, they are honorable, but that's not the reason why they're hot headed. Their honor is why the usually only kill armed opponents and not civilians (unless their glassing an entire planet... then it's apparently okay to do that.) The reason they are hot-headed is because they believe themselves to be superior to practically everything else.
