Tried my best, but the paint I guess got too waxy and started peeling off :( I don’t have good paint but any recommendations on which paint I should use next time I would appreciate

@imakeboringpostandreplies - I loved Henry in the motion comic and I honestly hope he won the fight against Lopez. I was rooting for him but I'm also partial towards Elites so I was sort of biased there.

do not use enamel paint. it takes a while to dry, and it leaves very thick layers, no matter how much you thin it. Citadel, Vallejo, and army painter, on the other hand, dry very quickly, and you can paint as many layers as you want.

Enamel paint is good you just have to thin it out. You can find some at joanns for about a dollar a jar. When I say jar it's really not that big but again you have to thin it out

Vallejo, citadel, and army painter are all good but expensive. Walmart has cheap acrylic paints at about a dollar per tube under the folk art/ apple barrel label that are good for starting out. Make sure you get gloss instead of matte, it looks and feels better and thin your paint with a bit of water before too.
